1. State testing starts Wednesday. We will be testing Wednesday and Thursday of this week and all of next week.
2. SWAG and assessments per usual will be due at the end of the week (i.e. Thursday).
3. We will start our own science unit on Energy and Transfer of Energy this week. Students will have ample time to work on the two packets that come with this unit. In the first half of the unit we will be learning about potential and kinetic energy, the law of conservation, and the various types of energy. In the second half of the unit students will be given a budget, and work in groups to design a roller coaster.
4. There is no school Friday for optional Parent Teacher Conferences. Please see email sent out yesterday for further details.
